Royz was formed in 2009 as a four member band by Subaru, Kazuki, Koudai and Tomoya.

Kuina joined in early 2010 after his previous band Celestial Garden disbanded. Sadly, in 2014 Kazuki announced that he will leave the band due to his mother's terminal illness and wants, being the only child, to take care of her.
Although they always said that they would stop all activities, if one of them leaves the band, they stated it just didn't feel right.
They describe their concept as "catchy" and want their music to appeal to all sorts of people.
